Halva's first product is vanilla halva. Halva made from sesame paste and tahini is familiar, for example from Greece. Halva is usually meant to be eaten as is. Halva made from tahini can also be used as a raw material for baked goods. You can mix halva with e.g. vanilla ice cream. See cooking tips under recipes. Halva products are often found on the cold shelves of stores, near dairy products/ ready-made baked goods. The Halva is still cooked by hand in a large copper pot. Made in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.
